August 31, 2010 - CYC Northeast Harbor Race was a great success!
We had 13 boats in 3 divisions racing 100 miles from Portland to Mount Desert Island. The fleet took off on Friday in a steady westerly breeze that quickly swung around to the southwest sea breeze. GMORA was established in the 1980s by a group of enthusiastic sailboat racers to coordinate, foster, and promote yacht racing, including international yacht racing in the ocean waters of the Gulf of Maine.
